Canal House Fair –– 10 Shot Video #2 of 3
This is the second of three 10 Shot Videos I shot at The Canal House Fair last July. The idea was to shoot three videos of the same place – differently. This one, as you’ll see, is much more intimate than #1. I guess, as I became more comfortable being there, I was able to get in closer to my subjects. Don’t you think it’s a better film when people speak and show emotion? The viewer becomes an active participant, not an outsider. Oh, and sometimes even pros screw up: my microphone got turned off at the beginning of a shot. Oh, well.

The Canal House Fair, put on last July by my friends Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamilton, was not only great fun it was a good place to shoot multiple 10 Shot Videos.
